Before joining Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Carter attended Harding University and graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work. Since then, he has worked at Boys and Girls Club San Antonio, Mount Dora Christian Academy and Chick-fil-A.

Growing up, baseball and basketball were the sports that he was most involved with, later providing an opportunity to coach basketball at the Boys and Girls Club and MDCA.

He is passionate about communicating the Gospel to young people and walking alongside them in their pursuit to live more like Jesus.  Carter is humbled by the opportunity to lead every coach and athlete to know and experience the love of Jesus, through everyday interactions on and off the field or court.

Carter is married to his beautiful wife, Jodi, and is blessed to be Dad to two girls, Rylee and Reese. Having been born and raised in Ocala, Florida, Ocala truly is his hometown.  Carter is a former coach who enjoys reading, podcasts, lake drives and beach time with his family.
