George is a Union County Alumni where he played football.  During his time there, he was part of a program that once held the state record for consecutive wins at 52 straight games.  After graduation, he played mens softball competitively for almost 10 years. 


He is now a field engineer for a local electric cooperative.  He has been coaching boys baseball for almost 10 years now.  He is the head coach of the North Florida Heat 12u travel baseball team and also serves as VP for the program. 


Being raised in the church, George was saved at a young age and serves as a Deacon at Sardis Baptist Church and also serves on the Babe Ruth Board among other boards in his local community.  He and his wife Ashkea have two boys, Raylan and Sawyer, and live in Lake Butler, FL.
